As a participant in the Fresno Builders Exchange Health Insurance Program, you will receive:
- Guaranteed issue, with no underwriting required (except Optional Life), with guaranteed rates and no health screening required.

- The flexibility to mix and match any combination of plans and carriers, with discounts for larger groups. For example, an employer can choose any or all PPO andHMO plans to offer its employees.
- One monthly bill for all plans selected.
- Rates are guaranteed from April 1st through March 31st of the following year. Rates are based on age and residence.
- Extensive doctor, hospital and medical provider listings, superior to any single network in California.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Fresno Builders Exchange Group Health Insurance Program, you must be a current member of the Fresno Builders Exchange.
Company Options
Participants can enroll in the Fresno Builders Exchange Group Health Insurance Program:
- Member firms with three (3) or more enrolling employees are eligible to enroll in the group insurance programs within the first 60 days after Exchange/Association membership activation date,
- Member firms with 2 or fewer are eligible to enroll in the group insurance programs with 60 days after joining and meeting the 180 day Exchange/Association waiting period,
- During the Fresno Builders Exchange Open Enrollment period in the month of February,
- Within 60 days of no longer being subject to a collective bargaining agreement,
- Within 60 days of non-renewal with a competitive insurance carrier.
