Open Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm. Overnight and weekend plan check out also available.
A day pass is available to non members for $25.

Plan Room Rules & Regulations

1. The plan room will be open between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00pm each day, Monday through Friday (holidays excluded).
2. All plans checked out must be entered in our database by a Fresno Builders Exchange employee before a plan will be issued.
3. Any plan not entered in FBE’s database or passed between users in the plan room will be subject to immediate recall.
4. Any one firm may take only one (1) plan at a time.
5. Plans shall be subject to the following time limits:
1. One (1) hour limit on the two (2) days immediately preceding the day of bid.
2. Four (4) hour limit on all other days.
   (Time limits stated above will not preclude the usage of plans beyond time stated if no other members are waiting to use such plan.)
6. If a member leaves the building or vacates table for extended periods, all plans must be returned.
7. ANY PERSON FOUND DEFACING PLANS OR REMOVING PAGES OF PLANS OR SPECIFICATIONS (INCLUDING ADDENDA) WILL BE CHARGED $50 (NO EXCEPTIONS).

Overnight & Weekend Plan Check-out Service

1. All plans are available for overnight and weekend check out on a first come, first serve basis.
2. Only one (1) plan per firm will be permitted if other requests occur.
3. Plans for overnight check-out will be available between 3:30 and 4:30pm each day. If prior arrangements have been made, plans can be left in the Plan Check Out lockers located on the West side of the FBE office. Plans not picked up by 4:30pm could be released to another member. PLANS MUST BE RETURNED BY 8:00am ON THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY.
4. After the third time a plan, or any portion of the plan, is received late, a late fee of $50 per every half hour will be assessed. (NO EXCEPTIONS).
5. Firms having plans checked out may not use the same plan during the first two (2) hours of the following day if another member has requested to view the plans.
6. Cancel plan reservations at the earliest possible time, no later than 3:00pm, to provide others with the opportunity to use the plan.
7. Overnight plan check-out reservations may be made in advance; however, no plan will be reserved to any one firm for more than one weekend or for more than two (2) consecutive overnight periods if other requests exist.

The above rules and regulations have been adopted by the Board of Directors as steps to alleviate problems of distribution and usage of the plans and specifications. The cooperation of the members of the Fresno Builders Exchange is sought to make these rules workable and to the advantage of all. Those who fail to comply will be subject to suspension of the usage of the plan room. Fresno Builders Exchange members are asked to comply with these rules. Those that fail to comply may have their plan room privileges suspended and/or revoked.
