FBE is a proud to offer scholarships to the future of the Construction Industry. We have partnered with the Construction Management programs for both CSU-Fresno and Fresno City College to provide scholarships to several students at the recommendation of the Program Advisors.

In 2007, FBE created a new scholarship to include the Architectural and Engineering students.  Nomination forms are distributed to the local Architects and Engineers.

Members of Fresno Builders Exchange, including employees and their families, are also eligible to apply for Fresno Builders Exchange scholarships.  Candidates must be a junior or senior currently enrolled in a high school; or, a state-approved construction related trade or craft training school. Although we emphasize construction careers, scholarship applicants may pursue advanced education through any field. Official transcripts of grades for the most recent semester and two letters of recommendation from instructors and/or employers are required.  Candidate must have a current cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher.  

Scholarship applications and nomination forms will be available in January. Deadline to submit an application or nomination form is March 1st.  Candidates must apply directly to the Fresno Builders Exchange. All applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Awards Committee.  All candidates will receive written notification once the scholarship awards have been determined. Scholarship amounts could vary by recipient.

The scholarships will be dispersed to each recipient during Fresno Builders Exchange’s Annual Scholarship and Awards Gala held each April.  Each recipient (and their guest) are invited to join us to celebrate the evening as we not only honor Scholarship recipients, but also icons in the Construction Industry and Members who have exhibited excellence in Safety in the Workplace.
